A Legacy Begins in 1905
1905: Central Heritage Resort & Spa was built in Darjeeling. We acquired this historic gem in 1984, dedicating ourselves to preserving its timeless elegance while enhancing guest experiences. From 2000 to 2015, we were proud partners with Fortune ITC, an era marked by luxurious upgrades and world-class service standards.
Present Day: Central Heritage offers a nostalgic escape with modern indulgences, attracting guests seeking both luxury and history in Darjeeling.
A Timeless Retreat
1994: We expanded to Gangtok with a quaint resting place for travellers, welcoming guests to enjoy stunning views of Mt. Kanchenjunga from Central Hill Resort. It has emerged as a tranquil sanctuary amidst Gangtok’s lively atmosphere.
Present Day: Known for its stunning views, Central Hill Resort is a favoured spot for travellers seeking a balanced getaway in Gangtok’s natural and cultural richness.
A Legacy of Elegance, Rooted in Heritage
2001: We acquired Central Gleneagles Heritage Resort in Darjeeling, an exclusive bungalow once owned by Russi Modi, former Chairman of Tata Steel. Nestled amidst the scenic beauty of Darjeeling, it was transformed into a heritage resort with utmost care, preserving its rich legacy while incorporating modern comforts.
Present Day:A symbol of heritage and luxury, Central Gleneagles continues to host travellers from all over the world, preserving the timeless charm that made it iconic.
An Oasis of Comfort and Convenience in Siliguri
2017: We expanded with Central Courtyard Resort in Siliguri, bringing our signature hospitality closer to urban travellers and corporate guests with its centrally located conveniences.
Present Day: Central Courtyard continues to redefine hospitality in Siliguri, providing an ideal base for both business travellers and those exploring the Northeast.
From 2008 to Present: Our hotels have been awarded many prestigious TripAdvisor Certificates of Excellence for our commitment to guest satisfaction and quality. We received certificates of appreciation as Romantic and Luxury Hotels from Yatra and Make My Trip for stellar performance. We were the most chosen hotels among Agoda and Goibibo travellers.
Recent Milestone: We added a new wing to Central Heritage Resort in Darjeeling, featuring 25 spacious rooms, a convenient elevator, and two beautiful new banquet halls designed for memorable gatherings and events.
